come on people get together!
go outside, enjoy the weather!
come on people get together now.
hey now people come along,
and listen to your favorite songs!
come along and listen to our song.
everybody on your feet!
meet your neighbors in the street.
its time for games--you know the one.
now the time has just begun!
come on people, everybody.
let's all go out to a party!
drinks and wine--they’re all yours and mine.
everybody laugh again.
everybody let's be friends.
if you wanna fight--goodbye! have a good night.
everybody on your feet!
meet your neighbors in the street.
its time for games--you know the one.
now the time has just begun!
come on people get together!
go outside, enjoy the weather!
come on people get together now.
hey now people come along,
and listen to your favorite songs!
come along and listen to our song.

sep. ‘04. i had just moved back home from ann arbor. just a fun upbeat song. underwent various strumming styles, lyrical changes, and ways of singing the “da-da” part before this version was finalized. the “bass drum” sound comes from hitting the empty plastic water jug (that we found in our house when we moved in) with my fist. recorded aug./sep. ‘07 in 1st floor bathroom & extra bedroom at highland.
