lyrics
goodnight, my sweet love.
please now, don't you cry.
i've enjoyed your company
but it's time to say goodbye.
goodnight, my sweet love.
i must be on my way.
but tomorrow i will bring my love
to you just like today.
yeah, just like today.

origins date back to ’98. there is a horrible cassette demo recording from summer ’98 or ’99 with jordyn and i shaking keys and an extremely cheesy keyboard riff. i remember walking around campus in college singing this little ditty in my head but always getting stuck on the last line. somewhere along the way i changed the chords and finished the lyrics. originally recorded in my ann arbor bedroom sep. ‘03. re-recorded in the 1st floor bathroom at highland aug. ‘07, keeping guitar riff track from the ann arbor recording.
